I am married to Doug, 33 years; a mother & grandmother. I did things backwards, got married while in my first year of college; dropped out to have a family early. I'm really glad I did...it was fun to grow up with them; 3 boys, and 1 girl. They have in turn produced 2 step-grandaughters, & 2 grandaughters, and 3 grandsons.
Our third son came the week I started nursing school at age 29, but I graduated on time and beat the curve on the State Nursing Boards to get my RN liscense. I worked first in general meg-surg nursing, gradually switched to LD, then to Telemetry-Cardiac Care and finally ICU.
I quilt, cook, spelunk for genealogy info(online now, instead of in graveyards & courthouses) & garden on a smaller scale than in the past.
